Mob Spawning in CW? - TheAcidHammer - 02-06-2013
Today I logged on and went to CW and realized I was lagging horribly and as I went around I saw lots of loose mooshrooms (20 +) then found the source of them, Someone spawned a lot and I mean a LOT of mooshrooms in tomstrs restaurant when. The reason for this thread is to inform the admins to turn mob spawning off in CW as it is obviously being abused

We'll have to find a new plugin to stop this. Let people know that if they do this, they will be tempban bed for two weeks.

I agree, one time I went on and I lagged out several times. The cause of it was somebody had the audacity to spawn about 100 chickens in my backyard and house and turned them invisible. This has to cease immediately.

Isnt there a plugin that limits the amount of animals in an area?

I believe there may be one, but I do not know for sure. I don't really look into plugins all that much.

So shad and tom, when did these problems start? Have you seen anyone mess around with spawn eggs? The more info you can give the better. Chat logs don't really keep a record of this stuff.

Well, actually I have a good account of what happened and when it first started. Tom and I were just messing around with one of his friends by spawning about 4 chickens in his house. He got startled which is what we wanted as we were bored. Tom then took it one step further and just spawned about 50 chickens. After that, we both stopped as the server was lagging horribly. I don't know about any of the others but Tom and I are responsible for one chicken epidemic that was taken care of. That is all I know about the subject.
