Pandoracraft ban report - Aeonex - 05-14-2012

Hello All,

Pandoracraft was banned for griefing doggylord's castle. Here are the pics of his griefing.

Was instructed earlier to post appeals to this forums (for his friend) if he wants to post appeals himself, he will.

Lily, this is a clear form of defiance, and even cyber bullying. I would advise punishing him in person.
It may not seem a big deal to do something such as this ingame, but it's just as real as bullying on the playground, or just general real life. If nothing is done to stop it, it will continue, and there is no reason to stop playing just because of them.
You can put it down to "kids being kids", but really, being allowed to continue doing something like this will only set a bad trend for him in future... This is something which is most definitely not okay. If he isn't made to understand the ramifications, how will he learn that it's wrong.

I'm sorry if I'm stating the obvious, or giving my opinion where it is not welcome to give, but I have genuine concern for you, your sons, and this whole situation in general... I just hope it can be resolved.

I think the students think they are untouchable because they are doing it out of school and in cyberspace. I suppose its the modern version of getting rocks thrown at your roof!!! No kids wandering the streets anymore - they're all online. The problem with reacting too much is that I'll end up with a chain reaction as other students jump on board the band wagon as a way to get me fired up!! Such is the life of a teacher. However I will talk to the student again tomorrow and appeal to his better nature. He is being particularly vindictive so I am angry and upset. It is one thing to get at me (not that I even know why!!!) but it is very personal when he knows he is upsetting my kids and continues to do it. I suppose it is life though and my kids are finding out that there are some not very nice people in the world. Thanks for all your support and kind thoughts.

I kinda hate for anyone to learn that there isn't always nice people, at least on CFEW lol.

The best approach is to contact this kid's parents personally, without the other students knowing. If he himself can be punished by his parents, he should think twice. If it only makes him react more, the parents will already know this is an issue, and should hopefully realise they should take further action...
