Minecraft 1.11 news! - MudsyKipsy - 09-25-2016
Heya guys, Mojang gave us some awesome stuff about 1.11 at minecon!
New things:
- shulker shells (Can be obtained from shulkers)
- Shulker boxes (They work like a Backpack)
- Llama's (You can ride on them using carpets)
- Observers (Redstone item)
- Mansion ( dungeon which can be found in forests)
- New type of librarian villager, which will sell adventure maps
- Woodlands exploration map (Which will tell you where a dungeon is)
- Sea exploration map (Which will tell you where a sea temple is)
- /location (dungeon) command ( This will give you the coords to the closest dungeon)
- Portals to escape from the end
- 3 new Hostile mobs(They're called Illagers) that are living in the mansion (One of them will drop an item called bottle of undying)
- Totem of undying (While holding this in your left hand, this one-use item will give you absorption and regeneration at the point where you should be dead,as far i know, this item can only be obtained by killing one of the new mobs in the mansion)
They added also something new called curses, they will spawn on items found in chests
Curses that are known today:
Curse of vanishing: When you die, this item wont drop and will dissapear (Handy for adventure maps)
Curse of Binding: (This curse can only be found on armor): Once you put on this piece of armor, you can't take it off. Which means you have to wait until it runs out of durability so it will break. (This curse was first seen in Minecraft April 1st version)
What do you guys think of these new features, do you like or dislike them?
