Haha my quest for stone and lapis is over... finally.

Anyway, to fellow shop owners: I urge you guys to re-open your shops! Change the price point of your items if you need to (probably will). Find the equilibrium point where you're not getting bought out in seconds but still get business. I'm constantly changing my prices and so should you guys.

ok we need to propose these new prices....
We need a pricing scale from our old economy
like:

x = item price before economy change

y = price after calculations

i was thinking around the 800% area so...

x * 8 = y

diamonds = 20-ish
20 * 8 = 160

It seems a bit steep, but people like penguin and i will probably lower our prices for competition xD

Hey could someone tell me the rate of money per hour? or day?

can someone summarize this thread as it is now? Also if you would like me to make an economic system for the server i'd be happy to. What i mean by that is how much each item would be bought for, sell for, the value of items in dollar format. I could make a list of that if anyone would like me to?

Chloe, here's what's happening.

We're discussing a couple things:

1) Whether or not to implement a server shop
2) Whether or not to implement a gold currency
3) How to improve the overall system

We've discussed points 1 and 2 quite a bit. The server shop is in limbo and it doesn't seem like we're switching to a gold currency.

Another issue several people, including myself, see is the offline income. A person that normally plays 14 hours a week is now making more than double by doing nothing.

Wake, prices can't be set in stone; shop-owners can always choose their prices. With or without the increased income, I agree that prices should be universally raised. But we don't need a formula to do a simple binary operation =P

And again, to shop owners: Open up your shops and raise your prices if you need to.

Ultimately, you can't dictate prices. And realistically, there will probably be a great deal of undercutting going on that will tank prices.
