The Carpenters block Mod is not supported with servers.

You can get it set up with just making a forge server plugin or not plugin and then put in the mod and then The person just needs the mod to join the server.

but that would require everyone who wants to join to have that mod and what if they cant get the mod because it makes them lag

How many kids will actually know how to install the mod? Not to mention the fact that it will narrow down the amount of players who will be willing to join. Its best to keep things simple for the younger users.
