After a while, diamonds are only good for mining equipment.
It makes for a not really very attractive, as well as griefable building material (even from the very rare, bad OP/ superOP), and if you can gather more than you really need, why not share it with those who do need them? There's also a few people who no longer enjoy mining and mainly come online to talk, or be with the community, so that could be why. =P

Poppy has been on the server for a while, she has a lot of diamonds, not xray.

Conclusion? Hand back his diamonds, apologise, and just carry on with minecrafting, lol.
