I'd say keep the ban until he makes an appeal. it doesn't seem like he has much interest in being part of our community. Did you tell him about our forum?

considering he wouldn't be able to break blocks if it were zoned, I find his argument extremely idiotic. His reasoning proves he's a born griefer or a complete [insert antonym for smart], not sure we want those types on the server.

Yes i told him about the forums. But it doesn't look like he cared enough to take a trip here.
