We could just have straight out pvp battles with bows and armor and swords, (equal health and weaps) and whoever wins is the better fighter.
There is this arena in PvP world that was made by Pelle44 I think and it is very big and could be what we could use.

Paintball (assuming you are referring to the mod) is not feasible to do on CFEW.
