Strav, do you have the latest version of bukkit?
If you do, what you need to do is go on to the bukkit forums (http://plugins.bukkit.org/) and download some plugins for the version bukkit that you have.
Once you download the plugins, you need to go to your folder where you run the server out of. when you are in that folder you need to find the folder labeled "Plugins" (probably something like C:/Users/Straven/Desktop/bukkitserver/plugins)
Then all you do is copy your plugins from your "downloads" folder into the "plugins" folder (after extracting of course)
Run the server and all should work properly (if the plugins are for the correct version)
*Most plugins have install instructions in a .txt file when you download them*
