I broke the main world - Aeonex - 06-10-2012
Hello CFEW,
Very sorry about this. I broke the main world map on accident today trying to restore a grief with logblock roll back. Unfortunately, I put the wrong date so it rolled the server back 9 days on the entire server instead of 1 day in the selected area using the incorrect format.
Already contacted clownfish about this in e-mail and on facebook. I am currently working on a solution myself also. I will attempt to reload the server from a previous map (1 hour from before the incident) but the transfer is taking a long time.
Estimated time for fix: 5 hours if nothing is interrupted. (power outs, etc.)
Be patient, in the mean time, visit adventure world, pvp world, desert world or other worlds and work on other projects. Those world maps are still saving and workable. The main map is the only map down.

Good news everyone! I fixed the server by restoring the map to a previous date. You may have a little work that was left unfinished. I restored 12 hours (most recent) restore before the server map was broken. Very sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any important items you lost (enchants or lots of rare ores) please contact me and I will restore them promptly.

Lol, it should be fine when the world is restored back to normal, the only problem is for players who don't know about the whole restoration needing to be done. It may be an idea to take a backup of the map from just before the fix is made, so the buildings they have made in the meantime aren't lost.
