Heres the line of opits from what i think:
brandin, fruit, me, next person who applies.
I have to wait a month before they will actually grant my opit application.

Blue just because you apply before someone doesn't always mean you will get it before them btw (if at all). If they are a better candidate for OPit then they may get it before.

It all depends whether the person is appropriate for the part, and whether we are in need of OPs. Right now, I'd say we're getting around to 50/50... We could do with some helpful new OPs to help fill the space left by some of our long timers who have been leaving... but at the same time, we were at the point of having too many OPs to begin with.
What is true is that if you apply earlier, your application should be looked at sooner... however, whether you get the place or not is all down to how suitable the player would be for OP, whilst considering the situation with how many active OPs we have, at the same time.

Personally, I don't feel like we need any more OPs at this point. While I am sad to see a few of our longer running OPs quit, I think it is for the best. Tomstr, sorry to put a downer on your OP hopes but, at this point, we don't need another OP. Also, Blue, there is no "order" that we follow. Getting OPit before someone does not mean you will get OP before them too. OPit is designed first and foremost to give the OP team a way to train and observe new OPs without letting them access potentially dangerous commands like /ban. OPit is for us to prevent another "DJ incident" before it occurs.

Besides, applying doesn't mean that you WILL get confirmed. (not meant towards anyone in particular) If the admins think you aren't fit to be an OP, then they won't make you one, not even an OPit.
