Redstone Helper Rank Proposal - MC_Legend11 - 08-15-2018
I am aware that previous attempts to make a redstone rank have been unapproved due to encouragement of lag. But what if not everyone could acheive the redstone rank? There already is a SlimeFun Helper rank. an expert in all things SF that can help you get started and help with things in SF. I believe there should be a Redstone Helper rank (RS Helper).
its requirements should be:
1.) app on the forums with 3 staff approvals
2.) Minimum rank of honored
3.)show decent knowledge of redstone through helping others
This gets rid of encouragement of lag because no contraption is required so plots wont be stuffed with redstone. also with the restriction of minimum honored rank will even more so lower the pool of potential helpers.
I came up with this Idea while helping Charlie396 with his redstone. I thought about why there isnt a way for people to recognize I can help them with redstone. Because it makes sense right? If you needed help with asthetic youd ask an architect or similiar rank but if you need help with redstone you wont know if anyone on at the time knows redstone. Especially newer players who havent had time to learn about everyones talents yet.

what would redstone helpers do exactly? help people with redstone? i can just google stuff like redstone tutorial and such we dont need a special rank for redstone

I also believe people would be more proud of their redstone creations of they were, well, theirs. Besides, redstone is a present part in the game, surely, but it's not like there's an entire world centered around mastering it. I personally don't believe it'd be valuable to have a rank like that.

You can help people with redstone without a rank. I think we used to have a title or something.

We have a forum award for it, Perhaps we could allow people to ask for redstone help somewhere where people with that award can reply on and help out..? Idk.

it wont cost money it would only cost extra space that we really dont have plus yeah nobody really wants that
