I added a curse word filter - clownfish - 08-25-2012
I just added a curse word filter to the server. It will catch most curse words and warm the user. It will also replace the curse word with @Bubble@
Each time a user curses it is also logged.
If you see a sneaky curse word combo being used still please send me a private message on the form please. Send a private message to ' clownfish ' and tell me what curse word and how it was used exactly. The I can add a filter for it.
This will greatly reduce the babysitting work for the OPs with the CFEW chat.
If you an OP please also come to this thread, download the curse word filter rules, review them, and advise on how I can make them better. ((CLICK HERE))

@blue & cmoose - Rondo is from South Africa, but I have also heard the same from anyone in South America. Their cultures find "omg" as one of the most offensive curse words. It's even stronger than the F word to them. Again in the USA, many people don't find any offense to it. Some do, but other countries feel very strongly about "OMG". It's just a small international adjustment we should do at CFEW to make our server International Friendly.
@Blue - Yes the filter can be configured to Kick when cursing happens. In fact it's can do nearly anything once it detect any word. So it's not limited to just 'curse word filtering' .. You could have it watch for the words "fish bowl" and then execute a specific command .. or watch for "help me" and then issue a sequence of help commands. You can also shorted long admin commands with it. Instead of saying /lb tool on you could type /lbo and it will convert it to /lb tool on for you. .. The plugin is called "PwnFilter' .. it seems to be one of the best. I found it pretty easy to configure. Here is a link: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/pwnfilter/
