As we reach the end of a long year, I wondered what some of your favo(u)rite games from 2014 were, (preferably released in 2014 but some new games you've tried during the year are fine. Mainly added because I only got Steam at the end of 2013....). Also, any games you're excited for that are released or said to be released in 2015.
I suppose I'll start it off:
2014 List:
Half-life 1/2 - Headcrabs are extremely adorable.
Portal 1/2 - Well. Who doesn't love radios that have an epic tune, combustible lemons, hoopy the hoop and promises of cake.
Mirrors Edge- Parkour and also guns. Brilliant combo.
You Have To Win The Game- Retro-style platform game. It's free to play and super awesome. Definitely recommend and you can play as a cat.
The Elder Scrolls Online- Well, I did manage to download this in beta testing. From what I got to experience it was good. Some true, TES fans may disagree with me. Personal preference though.
Minecraft- Technically this game isn't fully released and isn't a complete game. Let's hope it stays that way, eh?
Mount and Blade - Stabby stabby on a horse.
Little Inferno - You get to throw toys in the fire and watch it burn. Also you get money from burning something that costs money, and you get more money than the thing costs after burning it. Infinite moneys.
FEZ - 3D platformer and involves parkour and collecting blocks.
2015 List:
Mirrors Edge 2 -Can't wait, loved Mirrors Edge. It's being released in April.
Portal 3/Halflife 3- Ever hopeful one day Valve will go back to school and finish counting to 3. c:
Legend of Zelda - I've heard a new one will be released in 2015 sometime. I generally like the
Assassins Creed Victory (Codename/ Real name?) - Again, set to be released in 2015. Will be set in 19th Century London. For Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
