Expanding the Leadership Team

We've been making some big changes in our leadership team lately. We are adding a new position, called the Adviser Team, which consists of three people, and whose responsibilities are outlined below, in addition to those of the Admins. The Admins are still the final decision makers on the server.

Admin Responsibilities
(specific tasks will vary depending on the specific skills of that admin)

* Maintains the server values and rules
* Maintains the server
* Handles player and staff requests.
* Helps coordinate OPs
* Votes on the appointment of new admins and provides new admins with training
* Seeks advice from players, staff and advisers to enable them to make informed decisions on major and important server issues
* Collaborates with the other admins to make final server decisions (within a 3 week timeframe).

Adviser Responsibilities

* Maintains the server values and rules.
* Ensures there is no abuse of power by calling for a suspension of that admin (required a majority vote of the advisers and the other admins combined).
* Advises the admins on important/major decisions.
* Advises the admins on how to reach a compromise if they can't reach a decision.
* Votes on the appointment of new admins.
* Ensures that player and OP concerns are brought to the attention of the admins and resolved.
* Resolves concerns of players and OPs with insight gained through discussion with admins.

Everyone should feel free to come to ethan, abra or myself with any concerns or questions that you don't feel comfortable bringing to the admins or that you think have been ignored =) we will try to figure out what happened for you if we don't already know. We can also try to help clarify anything the higher ups have told you that you don't understand.
Suggestions should still be posted in the suggestion section of the forums, but if your idea was given a lot of support there but still hasn't been acted upon, you may send us a little reminder through PM. Perhaps it was a good idea but the plugins didn't work =) we'll try to get back to you as to why or remind the admins if they simply forgot.
