As I'm sure you've all noticed, the server has been inaccessible for the last two days due to maintenance. I'd like to provide some more information on why that was the case.
Mojang has recently allowed people to change their user names, and unfortunately some plugins are not equipped to handle that change. The most important of these plugins, our inventory plugin, is among those outdated plugins. The last two days was an attempt to switch to a different inventory plugin that would be able to function with the new name system. We also wanted to keep people's inventories intact so that no one would lose anything. To do that requires a slow process which involves the new plugin converting all of the files from the old plugin. Unfortunately, something went wrong, and we were not successful during this attempt.
Our plan now is to try again on a separate server while keeping the main server online and accessible. Unfortunately this means that any items gathered between now and when the process is finished will be lost, and any players who change their names or have changed their names will lose their inventories. This is not ideal, but it is the reality that we have to confront. We recommend storing any items that you do not wish to be lost in chests (regular chests, not enderchests). We will also do our best to compensate any players who lose items as a result of this. More details will be provided at a later time.
As of now, the server is now accessible again.
