About necesary plugins...

Iv'e been told on the bukkit forums that the current versions of worldguard and worldedit work well for 1.1. In that case do we need to wait? (Should get a response to my post on the multiverse thread soon). I'm woindering if this might be the reason why these developers aren't making updates recently.
