Bladerunner, anything Star Trek related, Donnie Darko, Labyrinth, the Alien series (Ellen Ripley//Sigourney Weaver is my hero), Serenity and Firefly (go browncoats), Lost in Translation, and... for the sheer fun of it, James Bond.

I can't pick just one movie, I love movies a ton. These are just some high points.

The Count of Monte Cristo, all versions

I prefer The Count of Monte Cristo over many other vengeance themed movies, even Pulp Fiction or V for Vendetta, because it explored deeply into the thoughts and feelings of an individual who suffers and seeks retribution. Unlike V for Vendetta, which delves a lot more into the problems of government. Or Pulp Fiction, which relied on nonlinear storyline narrative to make it powerful. Alexander Dumas' truly created a masterpiece here and the movies aren't very far from the plot. There were a few characters missing from the books which made the plot so much more complex than the movies ever portrayed it to be, such as the character Heloise. But this movie is a definite must see (either the one in black and white or the newer version). If you don't want to read the book, please, pick up a copy of this movie and watch the greatest vengeance movie to ever be made.
