This morning I woke up and my desktop had no Internet connection, I went to check the router and saw that my cat had chewed clean through the ethernet cable. I will not be able to go on the server until I get a new one (I'll probably get a new one this week).
Any suggestions on how I could shield the new one so my cat can't destroy it?

Get a sleeve, or maybe slip the ethernet cable through a garden hose?

For example what mayhem said "keep the wires elevated" but if you haven't got a new router try buying a wireless router because no wires for your cat to destroy. Also play with your cat more often it probably wants more attention
