It shouldnt matter what computer your using.
Is it only cfew that is playing up?

The only thing i could suggest is check if you are on 1.7.2

I figured it out. I went on http://www.minecraft.net and downloaded 1.7.9 XP. I will try using the download or 1.7.4.

1.7.9 wont work so dont bother trying it for now you need to use 1.7.5 or less
