I have had my house in survival most of my time on cfew and though i really love my house and things it will be nice to actually have something to motivate me to play SW. Once you have everything then its boring. I hope to start a town with Fyre and we are waiting for the new map and i would really like to make this town from scratch with no help from the other SW. I think having a new inventory would just be way more fun. SW is terribly boring at the minute because most older players already have so much stuff. I would love to have a new inventory but if people vote against it i will be starting from scratch no matter what.

A fresh start would also mean better materials and new scenery, I can't beg enough for a fresh start.

Something that would be fun, (although maybe for a sandbox and not new SW) would be to drop ore spawn rates, specifically diamonds & gold etc. to provide a bit of extra challenge and encourage potential trading and/or shops. This is a very rough idea and I understand people would be against it, but personally I think I would enjoy actually having to work hard for resources, rather than going to a double chest of them. I don't know, but I'd like to hear some opinions on this; maybe even find a way to decrease powerful enchant books with villagers? Not sure.

Don't forget for those who don't want shared inventory because of "full reset" or "it's boring and there's nothing to do" a new inventory isn't really going to help. It takes a while to get everything back sure.. Fun I guess. But then well, you're bored again.

For those who fully want to restart over: Why would you affect other players who don't want a full reset? Nothing is really stopping you from just deleting your entire inventory, removing your buildings and well...start over. There's no need to accept help from others. Sure, it might sound "unfair" for those who do keep their items because they want to but...isn't it unfair for those who want to keep their inventory or money when everything resets?

The reason why I refuse to give up my inventory or money because this might sound weird but, I got attached to my items and well, just like many others..I worked to get all that money I have now, from winning competitions to just selling things in my shop. Not only do I use items for my own benefit, but I help out new players as well by providing them some items or money to get them started. A full reset might be nice for those who fully want to restart for a few weeks, but besides that..It wont really favor anyone. After those weeks the people who are still commited to play after the full reset (Tbh, Idk if I even want to.) already got full OP gear again and they're bored again. Also, I have a huge town that requires supplies to work with, even today I'm always running low on supplies. I've been working on it for 3 years, having to start over is already harsh enough. Having to start all the way back from 0 without any money or supplies is just way too much work and

I keep reminding this, a few weeks, then everyone has OP stuff again and is "bored" again.

This is an important point.  People who don't want a reset will lose far more than what people who want it will gain.

Resetting the server to garner brief popularity is a cheap trick, like taking a double shot of espresso only to crash and return to baseline a few hours later.

I have to agree with Mud and Pig on this one... If someone WANTS to start fresh with the new world, there is nothing stopping them from doing that. People don't generally get jealous over what others have on the server, and if they did start over that is entirely their choice.

We should allow people the freedom to choose for themselves. We shouldn't force a full reset on those who don't want it, but give the option to those who do wish to go full reset.

I've also grown personally attached to a lot of my stuff. I've put a lot of effort into making Urfael, The Blade of Datlof, and all my armor not to mention the resources I've been preparing for the new world. I plan to completely revitalize The Empire and build a whole new city. But I need access to my gear to do any of that :/
