Market area on forum?

Hmm... Market section, eh? Sounds like a good idea.
A place where people can ask for items as well that they really need.

Another place for a shop list to exist is always a good idea, we need to compare all the lists and see if any have some the others dont though for all the shops to get full exposure in the market =P I like this idea but it might not get used as much due to people having to go to the forums to check the list... people are really lazy when it comes to forums. However the inventory of items could come in handy and gives an edge to your idea and I think its worth it.

Shops will always have issues with things being out of stock.. perhaps we could have a rating system on the shop's ability to restock as well?

As far as the "say what your looking to buy and waiting for a response", this idea has worked in the past for other games, the only problem is it takes a while to get a hit and really... there aren't many people that use the forums. It'll take patience on the part of the players using it to make this work, but I'm all for trying.

until this is put in effect (and even after) a good way to advertise is to ask an OP to put you on the shop list at /warp shoplist ...its small but its somewhere at least and I refer everyone who asks there

Wouldn't mind it so much, but I think we'd need to advertise about the forums itself more as well...
Quite a few people have begun to use it, but I'm certain there's still a lot more players on the server who don't, so it would only really be a benefit to the minority who do use the forums. (yeah, compared to the number of players on the server, we who use the forums are still a minority =/)
