Is there going to be zones in AW2? Cause people can grief everything people have built now, because of " No zones ". I hope it's gonna be added zones there, so that people can have fun without worrying about their houses.

heres what i think we should do:
aw1, pvp on
aw2, pvp off, pve on, zones and warps, no zone flags though

From what I've heard, AW2 is replacing AW1, so it will most likely have the same rules. Although, the admins were talking about having "towny" or whatever it was where you would pay money for zones in AW/PvP. Maybe you can mention it to them if you want it added.

@blue - Should CFEW have a place for PvP? We may be retiring PvP.
@Everyone who reads this post - Do you like AW with PvP on or off the most? AW2 will gradually replace AW1. AW1 will never be deleted. In about 1 months time I would like most players to speak up and move their AW1 builds to AW2 by using /modreq move this AW1 building to AW2 at x y z (when standing at their AW1 building, because Admins can use /tpid ### to teleport to where the /modreq was created and use WE to easily move them.) After we take AW1 offline, me or any admin can temporarily bring it back online in 5 mins or less and still copy a AW1 build over. Should I also make AW1 visible on map.cfew.us so players can even more easily locate their build and give me x y z coords of what they want moved to AW2?
Originally AW1 was seen as full 'Survival Minecraft' (Mobs, PvP, no zones, danger, challenge) .. AW2 for starts is this way. Should we take a poll on how most people want AW2 to be? Most of CFEW is 'safe' and protected. AW2 to me was a place players could go for more 'danger' and 'challenge'. Should we allow zones in AW2 and make it more 'safe'?

Iv'e posted up a modreq note about my huge AW fort, I haven't had time to search for new coords though... literally had to dash in, find coords, and dash out again. Hopefully I'll be able to find new coords sometime soon if I can get time... but hopefully the note just stays as a reminder. =P
I really wish I could play more often right now though... I've got so much to finish, and I'd really enjoy catching up with everyone. =(
Edit - also, I like the idea of towny... players buying their own zones. =P
Adds a certain level of safety, whilst still limiting it with a price... and so long as chests can still be accessed by anyone who does manage to sneak into buildings for loot, I think it could be interesting.

I think most people like AW without PvP. I've been making PvP arenas, though, so if we had a mod that would let us designate certain areas just for PvP, that'd be great (unless you can do that with zones, but last I heard, you couldn't). I'd also like the mod to include a way to add teams.

/region flag zonename pvp allow might do it, but I haven't tested that

Shpp, that doesn't work...
You need the map to be pvp, then zone the entire thing and flag it for no pvp,
Then you make a zone inside that zone that allows pvp.
