PvP Tournaments/Contests

In the "What do you Guys Really want?" Thread there was some recent discussion about PvP Tournaments/contests in general. So far the plan is to rotate between a building contest, a parkour contest, and a pvp contest each week. So every third week, instead of Cworld We'd have a pvp map with an official tournament That people would sign up for as well as a few side matches.

Also I really suggest looking at this bukkit plugin. It can reset maps automatically upon restart or whenever you want it to(although it would boot everyone off the server for second to do so). It would make running these maps a whole lot easier.

Also, we are thinking about having a few people plan all this stuff to take the pressure off of the admins. I volunteered and I'd rather not do this alone lol.

Anyways, what do you think? Also, if this was on the server, would you partipate in this? There really isn't any point in adding this if it doesn't recieve any support.

I said instead of Cworld for a week, not inside Cworld. Obviously thats not possible lol. well, All these maps give you materials So the PvP maps would have seperate invs. Either that or you're just not allowed to take anything with you lol. I'm pretty sure building contests will be either in Sandbox or small section of plotworld.

i proposed the idea of creating some building plots in Cworld, but this would become a pain giving everyone creative for building contests and then taking it off for other events. I think we'll just keep it in creative world.

As for the contests, it doesnt have to be every week. We could do two weeks of building contests, one week of a parkour map, two weeks of an RPG map, and then a week of a pvp map. It honestly depends on what everyone wants to see and how long it takes the map to get worn out.

I think MetalicPenguin is referring to the fact Aeon was very good at PVP contests.

He was amazing at it XD. if the server updates in time id be more then happy to take part in the contest/tournament.
