So on CFEW some people have been using colours repetitively and in response i amĀ asking that we can include 'excessive use of colours' in /rules since those using colours have been justifying it by saying there is no clear notification of them not being allowed to use them unnecessarily..

We could make this Honored+ but if we allow it as a perk we need to accept that people can use it as they wish. So if they want to type in color we should accept it and not try to limit its use.

There are only a few people who are constantly using colors in chat, and even hard/ very hard to read colors, like dark red or even black.
From what I've heard from others, most people just don't like to decipher that colorful text either.

So in my opinion, it should be handled like spam and caps. If it is too much or annoying to others, that person should be told to stop it.

I think this is fair. But what do we define as "spam" ? Obviously if someone is only speaking in colors to annoy people or overall just being disrespectful of others, but is a few sentences too much? Where do we put a cap? But yes, I agree that it could/should be added to our list of rules. Thanks for bringing it up, gab.
