Yes it does sound pretty fun and I could help make a 'Test' server quickly. I've been experimenting with these 'new content' mods a bit lately and they are easier than they seem to get going. I just successfully made a SMP Multiplayer 'Minecraft Hack/Mine/Slash MMO' Server. It was pretty easy and really quite fun. On a side note check it out: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/5028...ort-added/ . The goodnews is Mac, PC, and Linux can easily join this 'Hack/Mine/Slash' test server when I turn it on. The clients have a very easy download that does all the 'modding' for them. Piece of cake.
The Pokemob mod at this very moment seems like it' is SP only (Singleplayer). Many mods are SP & SMP (Survival Multi-Player). The good news is that the team making the 'Pokemob' mod is currently working on making it SMP (aka Multiplayer). Come to this link and have a look: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/5190...-pokemobs/ It does look really well made. If anyone hears otherwise or suddenly notices that they are announcing this is SMP then please let me know and we can test it. In the mean time go get the amazing 'Technic Pack' and try all the mods. For some great RPG/MMO action check out the Tecnic Pack mod called Hack/Mine/Slash (near the bottom of the drop down list once you start the launcher). Easy, new mobs, cool weapons, fun. Do we really have an interested enough player base to justify using up more resources on this?
